Justin Townes Earle continues to dominate Americana radio with yet another week at #1 with Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now, followed by Ray Wylie Hubbard’s Grifter’s Hymnal.
New to the Americana music chart: Sara Watkins’ Sun Midnight Sun at #30 and the O’Brien Party of 7’s Reincarnation: The Songs of Roger Miller at #35.
Most added albums this week: Willie Nelson’s Heroes, Sonny Landreth’s Elemental Journey, the Bodeans’ American Made, the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Everybody’s Talkin’ and Sara Watkins’ album.

Charting: Alabama Shakes, Nanci Griffith, Jason Eady

The Alabama Shakes jump into the Americana Music Association airplay chart at #14 this week with Boys and Girls.

Other chart debuts: Nanci Griffith’s Intersection at #34, Jason Eady’s AM Country Heaven at #36, Hank Williams III’s Long Gone Daddy at #37 and Madison Violet’s The Good in Goodbye at #39.

Most added this week: Paul Thorn’s What The Hell Is Goin On? Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives’ Nashville, Volume 1: Tear The Woodpile Down and Todd Snider’s Time As We Know It.

Ben Kweller, Kevin Gordon enter Americana music chart

There are just two new albums on this week’s Americana music airplay chart, as the Little Willies continue to hold onto the number one slot with For the Good Times.

New to the chart:

–          Ben Kweller’s Go Fly A Kite at #34

–          Kevin Gordon’s Gloryland at #37

(Gordon’s Gloryland album release party is scheduled for Feb. 17 at the Family Wash in Nashville.)

Most added albums this week include Amos Lee’s As the Crow Flies, Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer’s Little Blue Egg and the self-titled release by Sugar + the Hi-Lows.

Goat Rodeo Sessions enter Americana Music Chart

Ryan Adams’s Ashes & Fire won’t budge from the top of the Americana Music Radio Chart, holding on to #1 for yet another week, followed by Robert Earl Keen’s Ready for Confetti and The Jayhawks’ Mocking Bird Time.

The big changes are all at the bottom of the chart, with The
Goat Rodeo Sessions
featuring Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile, entering at #37. The Infamous Stringdusters are at #38 with We’ll Do It Live and the Milk Carton Kids enter the chart at #39 with Prologue.

Among the most added albums are Willie Nelson’s Remember Me
Vol 1
, with 14 new stations, and the Little Willies’ For the Good Times with 11 new stations. There’s a trend in there somewhere.
