Sun209 interview: Luther Dickinson on Gregg Allman

If there was an MVP at this year’s Americana Music Festival, it may well have been Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars and Black Crowes.
He was in the band for the extraordinary awards show, recorded a video playing solo at the conference, did a brief and terrific set on the Mojo Nixon radio show and played with the Allstars Friday night at the Cannery.
In this interview, Dickinson talks about the opportunity to back up Gregg Allman at the awards show and the Allstars’ new album “Keys to the Kingdom.”
